Ramblin Romeo After many trips to Kentucky and much research on the breed with the old timers, we decided to purchase a foal out of a mare named Carmella, who is El Cid’s dam. When we attended the RMHA International Show each year, we were amazed to see the stallion Ramblin Rex. He was often ridden around the grounds bareback with two young girls on him. We were in love with his calmness and confidence. Our prized stallion, Romeo, possesses all the wonderful traits of his parents, Rex and Carmella. Romeo has been trained from birth by Melissa Pelletier, who studied under the renowned Harry Whitney. Romeo is Melissa’s favorite trail horse, and she rides him with clients near and far. She has performed public demonstrations on him on numerous occasions at different events. He is always a show favorite, most recently at the Grand National Rodeo in San Francisco where most spectators had never heard of the breed. Romeo’s gentle eye and and willing heart, along with his natural ability, make him a truly great Rocky Mountain stallion. |
