Three Sisters' Jewel Three Sisters’ Jewel was my first mare that I purchased when she was two weeks old from 3 Sisters Farm in Indiana. She is a eight year old very stylish deep chocolate with an extremely graceful gait, conformation and a very nice temperament. She is one of the horses used at the Expos to represent the Rockies in California. Jewel was also used at the Elizabeth Graves Clinic in Pomona to demonstrate what the four beat lateral gaits should look like. This mare has an excellent bloodline. She is the granddaughter of Kilburn’s Chocolate Dawn, which is Charlie Kilburn’s best producing mare. Her sire is Ace Commander, who is a multiple time International Champion. Her dam is sired by the famous Buddy Row and Nance II. Jewel has been shown and has won numerous awards, but is happiest when she is out on the trails. Jewel has been bred to El Cid, and will foal this June. We are expecting a magnificent foal out of this combination. Click on the link above to see pictures of El Cid. |
